Bark & Bed promotes a flea-free environment. If fleas are noted on your pet(s) upon arrival, an appropriate preventative will be administered. We use Capstar Flea Treatment Tablets (a quick-kill flea treatment) to treat fleas at a cost of $5.00 to $8.00. The active ingredient in Capstar, nitenpyram, is safe for cats and dogs over 4 weeks of age and over 2 pounds of body weight. Capstar starts killing adult fleas on your pet within 30 minutes.
